Students from the University of Manchester School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work (NMSW) approached the University of Manchester Students’ Union in October 2014, complaining of insufficient finance from the NHS and Student Finance.
As a result of this, the Students' Union confucted the Healthcare Students Funding survey, and the findings of the survey can be found in the report below.
The survey's findings have led to the Fairer Funding for Nurses and Midwives campaign, which aims to lobby Student Finance to improve funding for student Nurses and Midwives.
If you would like to support the campaign, you can do so by signing this letter to Minister of State for Universities and Science Jo Johnson MP, and dropping it off in the Student Voice office on the Ground Floor of the Students' Union
