Education Enhancement Assistant

Want to improve the student experience at the University of Manchester? Interested in working with volunteers?

We’re recruiting for an Assistant to work with our Education Enhancement team to help us achieve an ambitious plan for our Education work (including our Student Rep programme).
University of Manchester Students’ Union is one of the largest Students’ Unions in the country. Working with over 40,000 students, 4 world renowned venues and a host of University partnership opportunities we want to enhance the student experience through some amazing projects and student focused activity that will really make a difference to student life in Manchester.

The Education Enhancement team support over 1000 reps at the University of Manchester, elected to represent student voices and views in their course, Faculty and the wider student community.  As part of this team, you’ll work closely with the Educational Enhancement Manager to help us embed strong processes that will enable an amazing student representation system and bring reps to the heart of student life at Manchester.
As an ideal candidate, you will want the opportunity to gain hands on experience of managing volunteers on a large scale and to make sure we have the systems and processes to back it up! You will have the freedom to work on your own projects and drive for change with a specific Faculty as well as enhance the experience for Reps across the University.
