Pangaea FAQ's

Pangaea is Changing

As the cold nights draw in and your Union building begins to evolve, Pangaea is too changing; expect the same levels of intensity that you have seen in the past but with a few slight differences.

1. Will the building works have an impact on capacity?

With a slight reduction in outside space as the building works are underway for your brand new Union, there will be a small decrease in capacity; so make sure you buy your tickets in advance as we prepare for what will still be the Europe’s largest Student led festival!

2. What will be different?

With safety in mind we will be reducing the amount of outside tents but access to Academy 1 and all inside rooms will remain exactly the same and your experience will not be hindered (plus, we’re sure you’ll be thanking us when the temperature falls too!).

3. Will Accessibility be impacted?

We are always ensuring that our Students’ Union is accessible to all and so as the building works develop, we will be sure to keep you updated with how you will enter the festival – all accessibility requirements considered.

4. Will Ticket Prices remain the same?

We're confident your Pangaea experience will be just as good as it always has been that we are keeping ticket prices the same to ensure that we can book the biggest and best acts for you to enjoy. At least 50p of your ticket fee will be donated directly to charity.

5. When will the theme be launched?

Pangaea is well known for its themes and we don’t plan on disappointing you; this year’s theme will be announced on Thursday 8 December so get following on Twitter and Facebook to be the first in the know!

This year we have had more students involved than ever and so we’re excited that we are able to deliver on what you’ve asked for. If you’d like to get involved and experience how a festival is run why not join the team!
