The Volunteer & Fundraising Team are here to support you with your fundraising activities. Below is a menu of forms to help plan:
Any registered student can hire a charity fundraising bucket on the condition that the relevant forms are completed below.
If you want to hire a fundraising bucket, complete this form and your Student Activities team will prepare it ready for your requested collection date. This can be completed in advance or at the Student Activities reception. Please note, it is compulsory for all cash fundraising activities to complete the fundraising bucket form below.
Hire a fundraising bucket– compulsory for all cash fundraising activities. Please note that you may need to pay a £5 deposit which is returned once you return the bucket.
Fundraising Events Form - Taking place in any location off or on campus excluding Students Union Academy Venues (see form below). This form helps you to organise charity fundraising events such as Jailbreak, Lost, Bogle, CRUKSoccer etc.
Public Charity Collection Form - Complete this form if you're planning public collections such as street collections, supermarket bag packs, busking,raids and shopping centre collections.
Academy Venue Booking Enquiry - Taking place in Academy 1, Academy 2, Academy 3, Club Academy, Students’ Union Bar or The Closet/RBS Space. Contact your staff co-ordinator to arrange a date and venue. This needs to be 4-6 weeks in advance depending on the nature of the event.
Volunteer Management and Recruitment
ALL Volunteer and Fundraising Projects should be registered and using this. The volunteer hub is a tool for managing existing volunteers, recruiting new volunteers and logging hours. To register as a volunteer, use your My Manchester login and complete the registration form. If you want to register your project or society as volunteer organisation, please use a different email to your student email address.
