We are currently looking for 3 Student Trustees to add a student perspective to our Trustee Board. 

The Board sits at the highest level of the Students’ Union’s decision making processes and we’re looking for enthusiastic and well-informed student members.
Ideal candidates will have some knowledge and experience of the way charities are governed and an interest in developing their understanding further. They’d also demonstrate a willingness to gain knowledge of the work of Students’ Unions and keep updated on developments in Higher Education.

Student Staff Roles

Bars Supervisor  (£9.69 + Holiday Pay)

Are you able to lead a team in a busy fast-paced environment? Do you enjoy working with students and delivering excellent customer service? Then being a Bar Supervisor may be the job for you. With over 400 live shows a year the Manchester Academy Venues are some of the busiest venues in the UK and the thriving Union Bar and student led events means there is great variation and opportunity for a motivated bar supervisor.
You'll need excellent customer service skills, team work and the ability to lead a team under pressure.
You will be expected to be available most weekends although will not necessarily have to work every one. The role will also include working late club-night shifts, sometimes as late as 6am. Shift lengths will vary from 5-8 hours and will usually be located within the Manchester Academy venues and the Union Bar.  Each Pangaea is a compulsory shift for all members of the bars team and late nights and weekends are a must for all bar supervisors.
