By Train/Tram

Oxford Road Station is the closest train station, located 15 minutes’ walk north of the Students’ Union.

On Foot

The Students’ Union building is approximately 20 minutes’ walk from Manchester city centre.

Starting from the eastern side of Piccadilly Gardens, walk westwards down Portland Street (the Portland Tower will be on your left hand side) until you reach the intersection with Oxford Road. Take a left down Oxford Road and continue down this road for 1.5km. Our building is located opposite Kro Bar and the Holy Name R.C. Church.

By Bike

There are dedicated bicycle lanes along most of Oxford Road and stands to which you can lock your bike both outside and behind the Students’ Union building.

If the bike stands outside our building are full, additional ones are located outside the adjacent Stopford Building (Medical School).
